THE NORTHWERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION SAW CLOUDY SKIES
DURING THE MORNING HOURS AS PERIODS OF LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE CAME
TO AN END BY MID MORNING. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER 20S TO
LOWER 30S BY LATE MORNING.

DRIER CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON WITH MOST AREAS
REMAINING UNDER CLOUDY SKIES. HOWEVER...AREAS ALONG LAKE MICHIGAN
WILL SEE SOME SUNSHINE THIS AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES REMAIN STEADY
AT CURRENT LEVELS. THE DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT AND
MOST OF WEDNESDAY. TEMPERATURES ON WEDNESDAY WILL BE A BIT MILDER
WITH HIGHS WELL INTO THE 30S. THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM BRINGS SOME RAIN
SHOWERS WEDNESDAY NIGHT POSSIBLY TURNING TO SNOW SHOWERS THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AS COLDER AIR MOVES INTO THE REGION.
