HERE IS A LOOK AT THE WEATHER FEATURES THAT WILL AFFECT THE REGION
OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.

A FEW BANDS OF SNOW SHOWERS WILL MOVE SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS PARTS OF
CENTRAL MARYLAND...THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA...AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA
LATE THIS MORNING. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE REGION THE
REMAINDER OF THE DAY. THE HIGH WILL BRING A MUCH COLDER AIRMASS
TO THE REGION THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEKEND. AN AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE WILL LIKELY BRING WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION TO MUCH OF THE
AREA SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. COLD HIGH PRESSURE WILL FOLLOW THROUGH THE
MIDDLE PART OF NEXT WEEK.
