THE SNOW WAS BEGINNING TO TAPER OFF ACROSS THE AREA LATE THIS
EVENING. LIGHT SNOW CONTINUED TO FALL ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL
MISSOURI...BUT FURTHER TO THE NORTH AND WEST ONLY FLURRIES WERE
BEING REPORTED OVER CENTRAL MISSOURI INTO PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
KANSAS. TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 20S.

THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO TAPER OFF THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. IT
WILL REMAIN COLD WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS DROPPING INTO THE TEENS. THIS
COMBINED WITH THE BRISK NORTH WINDS WILL RESULT IN WIND CHILLS IN
THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE AND BELOW ZERO BY MORNING.

AFTER A COLD START TO THE DAY ON THURSDAY...TEMPERATURES ARE
EXPECTED TO REBOUND INTO THE MIDDLE 20S TO LOWER 30S FOR AFTERNOON
HIGHS.

AN UPSWING IN TEMPERATURES IS EXPECTED BEGINNING ON FRIDAY AND
CONTINUING INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE UPCOMING WEEKEND IS LOOKING
QUITE BEAUTIFUL WITH SUNNY SKIES AND AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES
CLIMBING INTO THE LOWER 50S ON SATURDAY AND INTO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 50S
ON SUNDAY.
