A NEAR-EQUATORIAL TROUGH RUNS SOUTHEASTWARD FROM A TROPICAL
DISTURBANCE CENTERED WEST OF KOROR NEAR 7N130E TO END AT THE EQUATOR
AND 146E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING
MAINLY NORTHWEST OF KOROR BETWEEN 14N AND 6N FROM 130E TO 136E.
FARTHER EAST...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE
FOUND OVER YAP STATE AND SOUTHWEST OF CHUUK WITHIN 120 MILES OF A
LINE FROM 8N136E TO 4N151E.

A SHEAR LINE STRETCHES SOUTHWESTWARD FROM JUST EAST OF MINAMI TORI
SHIMA AT 25N156E TO BEYOND 130E AT 14N. CLOUDINESS AND PATCHY
SHOWERS ARE PRESENT ALONG AND UP TO 300 MILES NORTHWEST OF THIS
FEATURE.

LOW-LEVEL CONVERGENCE NEAR THE EQUATOR IS PRODUCING SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS SOUTH OF POHNPEI AND KOSRAE...OR
SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 4N154E TO 2N169E.
