SUSTAINED WINDS OF 100 MPH...MOVING WESTWARD AT 16 MPH. HEAVY RAIN
AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE WITHIN 100 MILES OF THE CENTER.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS EXTEND FARTHER OUTWARD UP
TO 250 MILES FROM THE CENTER AND ACROSS CHUUK STATE WITHIN 100 MILES
OF A LINE FROM 11N151E TO 7N153E TO 3N149E. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON

POHNPEI ALONG THE EQUATOR SOUTH OF 2N FROM 155E TO 167E.

TRADE-WIND CONVERGENCE ACROSS THE MARSHALL ISLANDS IS HELPING TO
TRIGGER SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS IN PATCHY AREAS
BETWEEN 10N AND THE EQUATOR FROM 167E TO 180.

A SHEAR LINE RUNS SOUTHWESTWARD FROM 26N180 TO JUST NORTH OF WAKE
ISLAND AT 20N167E TO END WEST OF SAIPAN NEAR 15N143E. CLOUDINESS AND
PATCHY RAIN ARE ALONG AND UP TO 250 MILES NORTHWEST OF THE SHEAR
LINE.

A COLD FRONT EXTENDS SOUTHWESTWARD FROM WEST OF IWO TO ISLAND AT
25N140E TO ABOUT 20N130E. CLOUDINESS AND PATCHY RAIN ARE ALONG AND
UP TO 100 MILES NORTHWEST OF THE FRONT.
