...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE HIGHWAY 20
CORRIDOR IN EASTERN IOWA THROUGH 1230 AM CDT...

At 1124 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered AROUND
Independence, moving east at 40 mph.

Winds gusts around 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with the
strongest storms.

Locations impacted include...
Independence, Anamosa, Vinton, Manchester, Dyersville, Monticello,
Robins, Jesup, Center Point, Cascade, Epworth, Farley, Urbana,
Central City, Fairbank, Shellsburg, Edgewood, Winthrop, Hazleton and
Earlville.

This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 29 and 55.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
