...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN GALVESTON...BRAZORIA AND
NORTHEASTERN MATAGORDA COUNTIES THROUGH 845 AM CST...

At 740 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bay City to 13 miles south of Sargent.
Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Southern League City, Galveston Island West End, Lake Jackson, Alvin,
Angleton, Dickinson, Bay City, La Marque, Santa Fe, Freeport, Clute,
Hitchcock, West Columbia, Sweeny, Surfside Beach, Richwood, Brazoria,
Jones Creek, Danbury and Bayou Vista.
