...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT THE SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF
CALDWELL PARISH UNTIL 1030 PM CDT...

At 917 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Clarks, or 8 miles southwest of Columbia, moving east at 15 MPH.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm along with locally heavy rainfall..

Locations impacted include...
Clarks, Grayson and Kelly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
