...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN MONTAGUE...NORTHWESTERN WISE AND NORTHERN JACK
COUNTIES...

At 717 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Newport, or 13
miles north of Jacksboro, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...65 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Jack County Emergency Management reported 60 MPH winds in
         Postoak.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Antelope, Bowie, Postoak, Stoneburg, Newport and Sunset.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection stay inside a sturdy structure and keep away from
windows.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately.

Heavy rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
isolated instances of flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
