TEMPERATURES WILL FINALLY BEGIN TO MODERATE THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY
NEXT WEEK AND WHILE IT WILL REMAIN WELL BELOW NORMAL...IT WILL BE AN
IMPROVEMENT OVER THE RECENT BRUTAL COLD. ALONG WITH THE RISING
TEMPERATURES...A BIT OF LIGHT SNOW IS LIKELY SUNDAY. A MORE
SIGNIFICANT SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY OF NEXT WEEK.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE SINGLE DIGITS AND TEENS BELOW ZERO
NORTH TO THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE ZERO DOWNSTATE NEAR THE LAKE
MICHIGAN SHORELINE.

HIGH TEMPERATURES SATURDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER TEENS TO LOW
20S ACROSS THE STATE.

HERE IS THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER AND EASTERN
UPPER MICHIGAN THROUGH THURSDAY.

ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHERN MICHIGAN
DURING THE TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY TIME FRAME. AT THIS TIME...THERE
REMAINS UNCERTAINTY REGARDING THE TRACK OF THE SYSTEM...WHICH
ULTIMATELY WILL FACTOR IN TO HOW MUCH SNOW IS EXPECTED.

PERSISTENT COLD WEATHER THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK WILL CONTINUE THE
THREAT FOR ICE JAMS AND POSSIBLE FLOODING ON AREA RIVERS.
