WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
200 PM CST WED DEC 17 2014

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE THROUGH THE QUAD STATE REGION,
RESULTING IN A BAG OF MIX OF LIGHT WINTRY PRECIPITATION TONIGHT AND
EARLY THURSDAY. THE PRECIPITATION WILL BE MAINLY SNOW AND SLEET
ACROSS THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE AREA, WITH MORE IN THE WAY OF RAIN
OR BRIEF FREEZING RAIN MIXING WITH SNOW IN THE SOUTH.

THE ACTIVE PATTERN WILL CONTINUE INTO LATE WEEK WITH YET ANOTHER
CHANCE OF SNOW IN MOST PLACES. IT WILL MIX WITH SOME RAIN ACROSS THE
SOUTH FRIDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY SATURDAY. AT THIS TIME, THIS EVENT HAS
THE POTENTIAL TO BRING AN INCH OR LESS OF SNOW TO THE HEART OF THE
QUAD STATE REGION. THE LATE WEEKEND LOOKS DRY AND COLD WITH MORE
PRECIPITATION EXPECTED EARLY NEXT WEEK.
