.THE MINNESOTA NORTH SHORE WILL GET LIGHT TO MODERATE AMOUNTS OF
SNOW SUNDAY WHEN LOW PRESSURE MOVES THROUGH THE REGION. THE
GREATEST AMOUNTS...OF 2 TO 4 INCHES...WILL FALL ALONG AND NEAR
THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE FAR NORTH SHORE...ACROSS COOK COUNTY...
INCLUDING NEAR LUTSEN...GRAND MARAIS...AND GRAND PORTAGE. THERE
COULD BE BRIEF PERIODS OF LOW VISIBILITY ALONG HIGHWAY 61 BECAUSE
OF STRONG SOUTHERLY FLOW COMING OFF LAKE SUPERIOR.

* LOCATIONS...LUTSEN...GRAND MARAIS...GRAND PORTAGE...AND ALONG
  THE HIGHER TERRAIN INLAND FROM THE NORTH SHORE.

* TIMING...LATE SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. THE
  GREATEST SNOWFALL RATES WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE AFTERNOON
  THROUGH EARLY EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES.

* VISIBILITY...ONE-HALF MILE AT TIMES...BUT GUSTY WINDS OFF LAKE
  SUPERIOR COULD DROP VISIBILITY TO ONE-QUARTER MILE ALONG
  PORTIONS OF HIGHWAY 61.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COULD CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ON AREA ROADS.
