...WET SNOW ACCUMULATIONS THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING FOR
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL WASHINGTON...

.A BAND OF RAIN AND WET SNOW WILL MOVE INTO NORTH CENTRAL
WASHINGTON THIS AFTERNOON. IN GENERAL, ELEVATIONS BELOW 2000 FEET
WILL LIKELY EXPERIENCE RAIN OR A RAIN SNOW MIX. COMMUNITIES ABOVE
2000 FEET LIKE REPUBLIC, CURLEW, MANSFIELD AND WATERVILLE WILL
HAVE A GOOD SHOT OF WET ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES. FOR THE
METHOW VALLEY, SNOW LEVELS MAY BE AS LOW AS 1500 FEET LEADING TO
ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES FOR MAZAMA, WINTHROP, AND TWISP.

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS
MORNING TO 10 PM PST THIS EVENING.

* LOCATIONS...MAZAMA, TWISP, WINTHROP, CONCONULLY, BLEWETT PASS,
  AND LOUP LOUP PASS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW IN THE MID AND UPPER
  METHOW VALLEY AND 5 TO 8 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP BY LATE MORNING AND BE HEAVY AT TIMES
  THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...DRIVING THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING WILL BE TREACHEROUS
  IN THE METHOW VALLEY. TRAVEL OVER LOUP LOUP PASS AND FROM COLES
  CORNER TO STEVENS PASS WILL ALSO BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO SNOW
  COVERED ROADS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES.

* TIMING...PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN BETWEEN 10 AM AND
  NOON. IT MAY BEGIN AS RAIN OR A RAIN-SNOW MIX BEFORE BECOMING
  WET SNOW. THE HEAVIEST ACCUMULATIONS WILL LIKELY OCCUR DURING
  THE AFTERNOON HOURS BEFORE SNOW DECREASES EARLY IN THE EVENING.

* IMPACTS...DRIVING THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING WILL BE TREACHEROUS
  OVER THE WATERVILLE PLATEAU. MOTORISTS WILL LIKELY ENCOUNTER
  SNOW COVERED ROADS ABOVE 2000 FEET ON HIGHWAY 2 BETWEEN COULEE
  CITY AND THE COLUMBIA RIVER.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 4 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS AND 3 TO 6
  INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS INCLUDING SHERMAN PASS.

* TIMING...PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN BY EARLY TO MID AFTERNOON. IT
  MAY BEGIN AS LIGHT RAIN OR A RAIN SNOW MIX BEFORE A TRANSITION
  TO WET SNOW BY LATE AFTERNOON. THE HEAVIEST ACCUMULATIONS ARE
  EXPECTED THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL ABOVE 2500 FEET WILL BECOME TREACHEROUS BY LATE
  IN THE DAY. MOTORISTS WITH PLANS TO TRAVEL OVER SHERMAN PASS
  SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND TREACHEROUS
  DRIVING CONDITIONS.
