...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM PDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Through this afternoon, an additional 2 to
  6 inches around Mount Rainier...2 to 4 inches around Stevens
  Pass and white Pass, and 1 or 2 inches at Snoqualmie Summit.
  Total storm accumulation above pass levels will be in excess of
  1 foot.

* SNOW LEVELS...Around 3500 feet today.

* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS...Mount Baker, Stevens Pass, White
  Pass, Paradise.

* TIMING...Snow showers will decrease later this afternoon.

* MAIN IMPACT...Travel may be difficult in the higher elevations
  and back country hikers should be prepared for winter
  conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
