Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
329 AM EDT Mon May 6 2024

...Critical/near-critical RHs today...

.DISCUSSION...Sun-filled skies are expected today, allowing for
efficient warming and mixing after sunrise -- leading to RHs falling
to critical/near critical levels across much of interior northern
lower Michigan this afternoon. Light winds will promote lake breezes
to push inland beginning midday into the afternoon, raising RHs
behind its passage. Temperatures look to warm into the low to mid
70s for many this afternoon. Rain chances return to the forecast
later Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night.
