This hazardous weather outlook is for northern Lower Michigan...
eastern Upper Michigan...and adjacent nearshore waters of Lake
Michigan...Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a chance for thunderstorms later this evening and through
the overnight, especially across northern lower Michigan. While
widespread severe storms are not expected, a few storms may become
severe later tonight south of M-72 and along and west of M-37.
Gusty winds to near 60 mph is the primary severe weather threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a chance for additional thunderstorms across much of the
outlook area Thursday and Thursday night. A few of these storms
may become severe, especially south of M-72.

Periods of showers and thunderstorms Thursday and Thursday night
may result in heavy rainfall totals by Friday morning,
particularly across northern lower Michigan.

Thunderstorms are again possible across portions of the outlook
area Saturday through Tuesday, especially during the afternoon
hours.
