This hazardous weather outlook is for northern Lower Michigan...
eastern Upper Michigan...and adjacent nearshore waters of Lake
Michigan...Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Rest of this afternoon and Tonight.

Very gusty southwest winds will continue across much of northern
Michigan, and in particular near Lake Michigan and Saginaw Bay,
through the remainder of this afternoon. Please see the latest
wind advisory for additional details.

Gale force wind gusts will continue through tonight across all of
the northern Michigan nearshore waters. Please see the latest
marine headlines and forecasts for additional information.

Accumulating lake effect snow will begin this evening, and
continue through tonight, across portions of far northern lower
Michigan and in extreme southeast sections of eastern upper
Michigan. Blowing and drifting snow is also expected to develop. Please
see the latest winter weather warnings and advisories for
details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Lake effect snow, along with blowing and drifting snow, continues
Wednesday through Thursday, though changing wind directions will
alter where better accumulations occur. Please see the latest

Gale force wind gusts will continue through Wednesday morning
across all of the northern Michigan nearshore waters. Please see

information.

Accumulating lake effect snow will continue through Monday.
