THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN...
EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A QUICK HITTING STORM SYSTEM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN MICHIGAN THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. THE FOLLOWING IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED:

  * WINDS: SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH
    ALONG THE LAKE MICHIGAN COAST.

  * SNOW: A PERIOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED...POSSIBLY
    MIXED WITH RAIN. THE MOST LIKELY AREAS FOR SNOW ACCUMULATION
    WILL BE EASTERN UPPER AND THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTHERN LOWER
    MICHIGAN. LOW VISIBILITIES AND SLICK TRAVEL ARE POSSIBLE.

GALE FORCE WIND GUSTS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS WHITEFISH BAY AND THE

ANOTHER ROUND OF ACCUMULATING SNOW IS POSSIBLE OVER PARTS OF
NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN MONDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY. AT THIS
TIME...CONFIDENCE REMAINS LOW REGARDING THE EXACT PLACEMENT OF
ANY SNOW.
