LAKE MICHIGAN...LAKE SUPERIOR...EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN AND
NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

...FIRST ACCUMULATING SNOW OF THE SEASON TODAY...

A QUICK HITTING BUT STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN
MICHIGAN TODAY INTO TONIGHT...BRINGING THE FOLLOWING IMPACTS:

SNOW: A PERIOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL OCCUR THIS MORNING
PARTICULARLY ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS OF NORTHERN LOWER
MICHIGAN AS WELL AS EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN. ROADS MAY BRIEFLY
BECOME SLUSH OR SNOW COVERED COVERED IN THESE AREAS.

WINDS: STRONG NORTH WINDS WILL OCCUR TODAY. WIND GUSTS OF 35 TO
45 MPH ARE EXPECTED OVER LAND...HIGHEST NEAR THE LAKE SHORES...
WITH GALES EXPECTED ACROSS A LARGE PORTION OF THE LAKE MICHIGAN
AND LAKE HURON NEARSHORE WATERS. SEE ONGOING WIND ADVISORIES AND
