...ACCUMULATING SNOW WITH HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS TODAY...

A MIXTURE OF LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ACROSS
THE AREA EARLY THIS MORNING...WITH ONLY LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
AND MINIMAL IMPACTS ON ROADS EXPECTED.

AFTER A BRIEF BREAK AROUND SUNRISE...A PERIOD OF HEAVIER
PRECIPITATION WILL MOVE BACK ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH THE
MORNING...CONTINUING THROUGH MID AFTERNOON. ANY MIXED
PRECIPITATION WILL QUICKLY CHANGE OVER TO SNOW NORTH OF A LINE
EXTENDING FROM ENGADINE TO JUST SOUTH OF SAULT STE MARIE. SNOWFALL
RATES WILL APPROACH UP TO HALF AN INCH PER HOUR...WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER RATES POSSIBLE FOR BRIEF PERIODS OF TIME. TOTAL SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY EVENING...WITH THE
HIGHEST AMOUNTS NORTH OF ECKERMAN. THIS SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BE
VERY WET...LEADING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SLUSH COVERED ROADS. IN
ADDITION...VISIBILITY WILL BE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED DURING PERIODS
OF HEAVIER SNOW. DRIVERS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE EXTREME
CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING TODAY.
