...AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITY...

LIGHT SNOW COMBINED WITH GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 30 MPH
WILL CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW WITH REDUCED VISIBILITY INTO
THIS AFTERNOON. THE PRIMARY AREAS FOR POTENTIAL HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
WILL BE FROM THE TIP OF THE MITT NORTHWARD ACROSS THE MACKINAC
BRIDGE AND INTO SOUTHERN PARTS OF MACKINAC COUNTY. BEAVER ISLAND
AND MACKINAC ISLAND WILL ALSO BE IMPACTED BY THE BLOWING SNOW AND
REDUCED VISIBILITY.

WEST TO EAST ORIENTED ROADS SUCH AS US-2 MAY SEE SOME OF THE WORST
CONDITIONS WITH VISIBILITIES LESS THAN 1/2 MILE AT TIMES DUE TO
BLOWING SNOW.

THE SNOW WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH FROM NORTH TO SOUTH THIS
AFTERNOON AND WINDS WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE. PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE
IS POSSIBLE TONIGHT.

IF TRAVELING ACROSS THIS AREA TODAY...BE PREPARED FOR AREAS OF
SLICK TRAVEL AND REDUCED VISIBILITY.
