* LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE IN INTENSITY THIS
  AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING.

* THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL RATES WILL OCCUR TONIGHT. SNOWFALL RATES
  OF ONE TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR ARE EXPECTED WITHIN THE HEAVIEST
  LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS.

* SNOW RATIOS WILL AVERAGE 20:1...RESULTING IN A DRY SNOW WHICH
  WILL BE MORE LIKELY TO BLOW AROUND.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES ARE EXPECTED
  THROUGH WEDNESDAY. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE WHERE
  SNOW SHOWERS PERSIST THE LONGEST.

* SIGNIFICANT REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY ARE EXPECTED...ESPECIALLY
  TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY. WIND GUSTS OVER 30 MPH WILL RESULT
  IN SUBSTANTIAL BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

* TRAVEL WILL BE DIFFICULT...INCLUDING DURING THE MORNING
