...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
NOON EST FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued A Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and freezing rain...which is in effect
from 11 PM this evening to noon EST Friday.

* Expect a wintry mix to develop around 11 PM and then diminish
  around noon Friday.

* Total wet snow accumulations of up to 2 inches and light icing
  are expected.

* Look for reduced visibilities at times.

* The ice will result in difficult travel conditions....including
  during the morning commute on Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving. For the latest road conditions...go to the MDOT website
at michigan.gov.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
1 AM EST SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued A Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and freezing rain...which is in effect
from 11 PM this evening to 1 AM EST Saturday.

* Expect a wintry mix to develop after midnight tonight and then
  diminish after midnight Saturday.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 7 AM and 1 PM
  Friday...and the greatest amount of ice accumulation will
  occur between 7 PM Friday and 1 AM Saturday.

* Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations
  of 1/10 to 1/4 of an inch are expected.

* Look for reduced visibilities at times.

* Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice.
  Travel will be dangerous and nearly impossible.
