* EVENT OVERVIEW: INTENSE LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE
  THROUGH TODAY...GRADUALLY DIMINISHING TONIGHT. SNOWFALL RATES
  OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR ARE LIKELY WITHIN STRONGER SNOW
  BANDS.

* SHORTER TERM SNOWFALL: WHERE SNOW SHOWERS PERSIST...ADDITIONAL
  SNOW ACCUMULATIONS THIS AFTERNOON OF 2 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED NORTH
  OF THE M-28 CORRIDOR.

* STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL: TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 10
  INCHES ARE LIKELY IN SOME AREAS NORTH OF M-28 THROUGH TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS: GUSTY WEST WINDS UP TO 30 MPH WILL RESULT IN
  CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...CONTRIBUTING TO NEAR
  WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT TIMES AND EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TRAVEL.

  SNOWFALL AMOUNTS RANGING FROM 3 TO 7 INCHES ARE EXPECTED IN THE
  WARNED AREA BETWEEN M-72 AND M-32 THIS AFTERNOON. MUCH LESSER
  AMOUNTS FURTHER NORTH...WITH ONLY AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES
  THIS MORNING NORTH OF M-68.

* STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS: BY TONIGHT...STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL
  AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 FEET WILL BE FOUND OVER PARTS OF OTSEGO...ANTRIM
  AND NORTHERN CRAWFORD COUNTIES. THE REMAINDER OF THE WARNED AREA
  WILL GENERALLY SEE 4 TO 12 INCHES...WITH MUCH OF THAT FALLING
  ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE M-68 CORRIDOR.

* IMPACTS: SLICK AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL WITH SNOW COVERED ROADS.
  WHITEOUT CONDITIONS LIKELY AT TIMES DUE TO BLOWING SNOW.
