* LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY DURING THE AFTERNOON
  HOURS AND INTO TONIGHT.

* THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL RATES WILL OCCUR TONIGHT. SNOWFALL RATES
  OF ONE TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR ARE EXPECTED WITHIN THE HEAVIEST
  LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 12 INCHES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH
  WEDNESDAY. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE WHERE SNOW
  SHOWERS PERSIST THE LONGEST.

* SIGNIFICANT REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT
  THROUGH WEDNESDAY. WIND GUSTS OVER 30 MPH WILL RESULT IN
  SUBSTANTIAL BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

* TRAVEL WILL BE DIFFICULT...INCLUDING DURING THE MORNING
  COMMUTE ON WEDNESDAY.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 7 INCHES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH
  WEDNESDAY. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE WHERE SNOW
  SHOWERS PERSIST.
