A DEEP STORM SYSTEM TRACKING FROM LOWER MICHIGAN TO WESTERN QUEBEC
WILL PRODUCE WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH TODAY...WITH THE PASSAGE OF ITS
ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT GENERATING UP TO AN INCH OF RAIN TONIGHT
INTO TUESDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

COLDER AIR POURING ACROSS THE REGION IN THE WAKE OF A COLD FRONT
WILL CHANGE WIDESPREAD RAIN OVER TO SNOW. THE WET SNOW MAY
ACCUMULATE AN INCH OR SO ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN SOUTH OF THE
NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY.

THE PROBABILITY FOR WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.

WILL GENERATE UP TO AN INCH OF RAIN LATER TODAY INTO TUESDAY.
THIS WILL PRODUCE FAIRLY SIGNIFICANT RISES ON AREA TRIBUTARIES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

COLDER AIR POURING ACROSS THE REGION IN THE WAKE OF A COLD FRONT
WILL CHANGE WIDESPREAD RAIN OVER TO WET SNOW. THE SNOW WILL LIKELY
ACCUMULATE AN INCH OR TWO...MAINLY ON CARS AND GRASSY SURFACES.
ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO 3 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
ELEVATED TERRAIN IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF BUFFALO AND BATAVIA...WITH
EVEN HIGHER SNOWFALL AMOUNTS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ELEVATED TERRAIN
OF THE SOUTHERN TIER.
