This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central New York.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A strong area of low pressure is forecast to move through the
central Great Lakes Saturday, with an associated strong cold front
crossing the eastern Lake Ontario region Saturday evening. Strong
winds will develop behind this cold front Saturday night, with wind
gusts possibly in excess of 50 mph.

Much colder air will move into the region on Sunday. This will set
the stage for lake effect snow east and southeast of Lake Ontario
Sunday through Monday. It remains too early for any specifics on
snowfall amounts or exact location.

A strong area of low pressure is forecast to move through the
central Great Lakes Saturday, with an associated strong cold front
crossing the eastern Great Lakes late in the day. Strong winds will
develop behind this cold front Saturday night and Sunday, with gale
force winds possible on the River.
