...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN CATTARAUGUS AND
NORTHWESTERN ALLEGANY COUNTIES...

At 134 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Franklinville,
or 15 miles northeast of Salamanca, moving east at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Ashford, Franklinville, Belfast, Cuba, Rushford, Houghton, Caneadea,
Friendship, Belmont and Angelica.

This includes Interstate 86 between exits 28 and 31.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
