...A BAND OF HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL IMPACT ERIE COUNTY...

AT 600 AM EST...A BAND OF HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW PRODUCING SNOWFALL
RATES OF UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR EXTENDED ACROSS THE CITY OF BUFFALO
TO THE EASTERN SUBURBS.

THE SNOW BAND WILL SLIDE A LITTLE FARTHER TO SOUTH THROUGH 8 AM
IMPACTING THE BUFFALO SOUTHTOWNS WITH CONTINUED SNOWFALL RATES OF UP
TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
BUFFALO...CHEEKTOWAGA...WEST SENECA...CLARENCE...LACKAWANNA...
DEPEW...AMHERST...LANCASTER...HAMBURG AND WILLIAMSVILLE.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 90 BETWEEN EXITS 57 AND 49.

VISIBILITIES WILL DROP QUICKLY TO LESS THAN A QUARTER OF A MILE IN
THIS BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW.

CONDITIONS CAN DETERIORATE RAPIDLY IN WINTER WEATHER SITUATIONS. BE
PREPARED FOR SNOW OR ICE COVERED ROADS. SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA
TIME WHEN TRAVELING.
