MONROE...NORTHWESTERN CATTARAUGUS AND ERIE COUNTIES...

AT 622 PM EST...A BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW PRODUCING SNOW FALL RATES
UP TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR WAS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM NEAR
BROCKPORT TO NEAR WESTFIELD.

VISIBILITIES WITHIN THIS BAND MAY DROP TO NEAR ZERO AT TIMES.  THIS
COUPLED WITH RAPID ACCUMULATION OF SNOW ON AREA ROADS WILL MAKE
TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS. TRAVEL WITHIN THE AFFECTED AREA IS NOT
ADVISED.

BUFFALO...LANCASTER...ALDEN...WEST SENECA...JAMESTOWN...CLARENCE...
LACKAWANNA...BATAVIA...DEPEW...DUNKIRK AND FREDONIA.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 INTERSTATE 90 BETWEEN EXITS 61 AND 51...AND BETWEEN EXITS 49 AND 47.
 INTERSTATE 86 BETWEEN EXITS 4 AND 13.

CONDITIONS CAN DETERIORATE RAPIDLY IN WINTER WEATHER SITUATIONS. BE
PREPARED FOR SNOW OR ICE COVERED ROADS. SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA
TIME WHEN TRAVELING.
