* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Plan on slippery road
  conditions, including during the evening commute on Friday.
  Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected in the
  most persistent lake snows.

* WHERE...Niagara county.

* WHEN...11 AM to 10 PM Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow may briefly become heavy,
  with very low visibilities and snow covered roads. The heaviest
  snow may fall during the Friday evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If
traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and
visibilities.

  Friday night and Saturday possible. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are
  expected in the most persistent lake snows late this afternoon
  through Friday morning. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 10
  inches are possible in the most persistent lake snows Friday
  evening through Saturday afternoon.

* WHERE...Oswego county. Greatest snow amounts tonight near the
  Lake Ontario shore. Greatest snow amounts Friday night and
  Saturday across the Tug Hill.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, 4 PM today to 7 AM
  Friday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Friday evening
  through Saturday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow may result in very
  difficult travel at times with very low visibility and deep
  snow cover on roads.
