...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TO 11 AM EDT
FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for Freezing rain...which is in effect from 5 AM
to 11 AM EDT Friday.

* LOCATIONS...Southern and eastern Allegany, Southern Livingston,
  Ontario, Wayne and Northern Cayuga counties.

* TIMING...From late tonight through late Friday morning.

* HAZARDS...Freezing rain with some sleet also possible.

* ACCUMULATIONS...A trace to one tenth of an inch of ice and
  sleet.

* TEMPERATURES...In the lower 30s overnight.

* IMPACTS...A thin layer of freezing rain and sleet can bring icy
  spots on untreated roads, parking lots and walkways.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory is normally issued for a variety of
winter weather conditions such as light snow, blowing snow,
sleet, freezing rain and wind chills. While the weather will be
significant, the word advisory implies that severe winter weather
is not anticipated.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO NOON EDT
FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for Snow...sleet...and freezing rain...which is
in effect from 6 AM to noon EDT Friday.

* LOCATIONS...Eastern Lake Ontario Region.

* TIMING...From late tonight through late Friday morning.

* HAZARDS...Snow...sleet...and freezing rain.

* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow accumulating up to 2 inches. Ice
  accumulating up to one tenth of an inch.

* TEMPERATURES...Lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s overnight.

* IMPACTS...An inch or two of snow with a thin layer of freezing
  rain and sleet can bring icy spots on untreated roads, parking
  lots and walkways.
