* LOCATIONS...ORLEANS...GENESEE...WYOMING...MONROE...WAYNE...
  NORTHERN CAYUGA...LIVINGSTON...AND ONTARIO COUNTIES.

* TIMING...THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY EVENING. AN AREA OF HEAVY SNOW
  WILL MOVE IN TONIGHT...WITH LIGHT SNOW ON THURSDAY AND THURSDAY
  EVENING.

* HAZARDS...HEAVY SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...A STORM TOTAL OF 10 TO 16 INCHES. 4 TO 7 INCHES
  TONIGHT AND 1 TO 2 INCHES THURSDAY.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES...A QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...THERE WILL BE HEAVY SNOW LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH THE
  EARLY MORNING HOURS WHICH WILL RESULT IN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS. THIS INCLUDES THE ROCHESTER METRO AREA AND
  WILL ALSO IMPACT A SIGNIFICANT STRETCH OF THE NEW YORK STATE
  THRUWAY. CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE THURSDAY MORNING AS HEAVY SNOW
  MOVES OUT OF THE AREA.

* TIMING...HEAVY SNOW WILL END FROM EAST TO WEST BETWEEN 10 PM AND
  1 AM.

* HAZARDS...HEAVY SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...A STORM TOTAL 6 TO 12 INCHES.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES...A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...SNOW WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES THIS EVENING...WHICH WILL
  MAKE TRAVEL EXTREMELY VERY DIFFICULT. SNOW WILL TAPER OFF AFTER
  MIDNIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING IS ISSUED WHEN SEVERE WINTER WEATHER IS
EXPECTED. HEAVY SNOW AND/OR ICE WILL CAUSE HAZARDOUS DRIVING
CONDITIONS. IF YOU WILL BE TRAVELING IN THE WARNING AREA YOU
SHOULD CHOOSE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE IF POSSIBLE...OR YOU SHOULD USE
EXTREME CAUTION IF TRAVEL IS UNAVOIDABLE.

IF YOU LOSE POWER AND PLAN ON RUNNING A GENERATOR...MAKE SURE
THAT THE GENERATOR IS LOCATED OUTDOORS AND IS PROPERLY
VENTILATED. SPACE HEATERS SHOULD ALSO BE PROPERLY VENTILATED AND
USED ONLY IF THEY ARE OPERATING PROPERLY. MAKE SURE SNOW DOES NOT
BLOCK EXHAUSTS AND FRESH AIR INTAKES FOR HIGH EFFICIENCY FURNACES
AND WATER HEATERS.
