The areas affected include...
  nearshore and open waters from Geneva-on-the-Lake to Ripley NY...

At 834 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms, capable of
producing winds to around 25 knots. These thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 30 nm northwest of Erie to near
Conneaut, moving northeast at 35 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 25 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
