.A BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW OVER LAKE ERIE WILL PUSH INLAND INTO
EXTREME NORTHEAST OHIO AND NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA TODAY. THE SNOW
WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT AND GRADUALLY END FROM THE WEST ON
FRIDAY.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A LAKE
EFFECT SNOW WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 3 PM
EST FRIDAY. THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 10 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
  AMOUNTS. THE HIGHEST ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE ACROSS
  NORTHEAST ERIE COUNTY WHERE THEY MAY REACH A FOOT...AND THE
  LESSER ACCUMULATIONS ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN CRAWFORD COUNTY.

* SNOW BEGINNING...THIS MORNING ALONG THE LAKESHORE AND THIS
  AFTERNOON INLAND.

* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW...THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ALONG
  THE LAKESHORE AND TONIGHT INLAND.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COULD ACCUMULATE RAPIDLY WHERE LAKE EFFECT SNOW
  BANDS PERSIST. VISIBILITY COULD BE SHARPLY REDUCED AND UNTREATED
  SURFACES WILL QUICKLY BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.
  SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH COULD CAUSE BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING OF SNOW...MAINLY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
