URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW WILL BE OVERSPREADING THE AREA TONIGHT AND THEN START
DECREASING ON MONDAY AND THEN SOME LAKE EFFECT MAY BEGIN
AFFECTING A PORTION OF THE SNOW BELT INTO TUESDAY NIGHT.

.SNOW WILL BE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY THIS EVENING AND THEN START
DECREASING FROM THE WEST ON MONDAY. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE
FROM 3 TO 6 INCHES IN THE ADVISORY AREA. AFTER THIS SNOW ENDS
SOME LAKE EFFECT SNOW COULD DEVELOP ALONG THE LAKESHORE FROM LAKE
COUNTY NORTHEAST INTO ERIE COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA. IN ASHTABULA
COUNTY MAINLY THE NORTHERN HALF OF ASHTABULA COUNTY WILL BE
AFFECTED. MANY QUESTIONS ABOUND AS TO HOW FAR INLAND THE LAKE
EFFECT SNOW BANDS WILL GET AS THE DIRECTION WILL BE WEST
SOUTHWEST.

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST
MONDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES.

* THE SNOW WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY TONIGHT AND THEN
  DECREASE MONDAY MORNING.

* WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 10 TO 20 MPH MONDAY AFTERNOON AND
  INCREASE MORE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. PLENTY OF BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING SNOW WILL DEVELOP.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY OVERNIGHT
  AND THE VISIBILITY WILL BE POOR AT TIMES.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 6 INCHES WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS UP TO 8
  INCHES. DEPENDING ON WHERE THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW BAND SET
  UP...ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL COULD RANGE FROM 6 TO 12 INCHES.

* THE SNOW WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY OVERNIGHT AND THEN
  TRANSITION INTO LAKE EFFECT BY MONDAY EVENING AND THEN CONTINUE
  OFF AND ON INTO TUESDAY NIGHT AS THE BANDS OF LAKE EFFECT
  WOBBLE.

* WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 10 TO 20 MPH MONDAY AFTERNOON AND
  INCREASE MORE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. PLENTY OF BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING SNOW WILL DEVELOP.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY
  OVERNIGHT. SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE RAPIDLY WHERE LAKE EFFECT SNOW
  BANDS PERSIST. VISIBILITY WILL BE SHARPLY REDUCED AND
  UNTREATED SURFACES WILL QUICKLY BECOME SNOW COVERED AND
  SLIPPERY.

LOCATIONS COULD RECEIVE 8 INCHES OF SNOW BUT IT WOULD BE IN OVER
12 HOURS. SO THAT IS WHY ONLY AN ADVISORY WAS ISSUED.
