...LAKE EFFECT SNOW ALONG THE LAKESHORE AND IT WILL MOVE INLAND
THIS AFTERNOON...
.STILL SOME QUESTION HOW MUCH IMPACT THE SNOW BAND OVER LAKE ERIE
WILL HAVE IN LAKE AND ASHTABULA COUNTIES...HOWEVER...IT WILL HAVE
SOME IMPACT IN ERIE COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA AS THE BAND TRIES TO MOVE
INLAND THIS AFTERNOON. SNOWFALL RATES CAN BE 3 INCHES AN
HOUR...ESPECIALLY IN PENNSYLVANIA.

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...THROUGH TONIGHT SHOULD RANGE FROM 6 TO 12
  INCHES MAINLY NORTHEAST OF PAINESVILLE AND NORTH OF WATERFORD
  AND CORRY. SOME LOCATIONS ESPECIALLY OVER EXTREME NORTHEAST ERIE
  COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA COULD ACCUMULATE UP TO 24 INCHES BY DAYBREAK
  WEDNESDAY.

* TIMING...SNOW IS OCCURRING ALONG THE LAKESHORE. THE SNOW BAND
  THAT IS OVER THE LAKE EXPECTED TO MOVE INLAND THIS AFTERNOON AND
  THEN MOVE BACK OUT OVER THE LAKE LATE TONIGHT. THE HIGHEST
  INTENSITY OF THE SNOW WILL BE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY TONIGHT.

* WEST WINDS 20 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH CAUSING BLOWING
  AND DRIFTING SNOW. WINDS WILL DIMINISH TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BE OR BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.
  VISIBILITY WILL BE GREATLY REDUCED...ESPECIALLY IN THE HEAVY
  SNOW BANDS AND DURING BLOWING SNOW. NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS ARE
  POSSIBLE IN THE HEAVY SNOW BAND.

IN LAKE EFFECT SNOW THE WEATHER CAN VARY FROM LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW
IN NARROW BANDS TO CLEAR SKIES JUST A FEW MILES AWAY. IF YOU WILL
BE TRAVELING ACROSS THE REGION BE PREPARED FOR RAPID CHANGES IN
ROAD AND VISIBILITY CONDITIONS. STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO
