...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM EDT SATURDAY FOR
LENAWEE COUNTY...

AT 736 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA LIGHT RAIN
PERSISTING OVER MUCH OF THE COUNTY. RADAR AND SPOTTER REPORTS
SUGGEST 2.5 TO 4.5 INCHES HAVE FALLEN ACROSS THE COUNTY TODAY...
WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS LIKELY IN THE WESTERN AND SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF
THE COUNTY.

LENAWEE COUNTY CENTRAL DISPATCH AND SPOTTER REPORTS INDICATE
NUMEROUS ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO FLOODING.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
ADRIAN...TECUMSEH...BLISSFIELD...HUDSON...MORENCI...CLINTON...
HUDSON...ONSTED...DEERFIELD...ADDISON...BRITTON...CEMENT CITY...
CLAYTON...ROLLIN...PALMYRA...FAIRFIELD...SPRINGVILLE...RIDGEWAY...
MACON AND RIGA.

THE RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO DECREASE IN INTENSITY AND COVERAGE DURING
THE REST OF THE EVENING. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS THIS EVENING
SHOULD BE LESS THAN A QUARTER INCH. IT WILL HOWEVER TAKE SOME TIME
FOR THE WATER TO RECEDE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE FLOODING
OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS FARM AND COUNTRY ROADS. DO
NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
