FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DETROIT/PONTIAC MI
341 PM EDT SUN AUG 31 2014

.DISCUSSION...
WARM AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE INTO MONDAY. LABOR DAY WILL
START OUT PLEASANT BUT THEN TURN STORMY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING AS ANOTHER COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE AREA. EXPECT COVERAGE OF
SHOWERS AND STORMS TO BECOME NUMEROUS BY EVENING AND LAST THROUGH
SUNRISE TUESDAY. SOUTH WIND GUSTS NEAR 30 MPH WILL MAINTAIN THE WARM
AND HUMID AIR MASS UNTIL THE COLD FRONT SWEEPS THROUGH TUESDAY.
TRAILING HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN ENSURE DRY CONDITIONS WEDNESDAY.
