This hazardous weather outlook is for most of southeast Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A strong cold front will track through southeast Michigan after
midnight, sending temperatures below freezing by 7 AM. Its possible
roads will become icy for the Friday morning commute as temperatures
quickly drop into the 20s. Rain overnight will change to brief
mixture of sleet and freezing rain and then snow. Any ice
accumulations will be less than tenth of an inch, with snow
accumulations less than 1 inch through 7 AM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Any lingering sleet or freezing rain Friday morning will become all
snow, with a couple inches of accumulation expected, mainly south of
I-69. Snow tapers off in the afternoon.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

I-69. Snow tapers off in the afternoon.

Cold northerly winds, gusting to 30 to 40 mph late friday, will
allow for Lake effect snow showers to develop Friday night and
continue into Saturday. Localized light snowfall accumulations near
the shoreline are expected, with perhaps as much as 2 to 4 inches,
mainly over Port Huron.

Gale warning is in effect tonight for most of lake Huron. Refer to

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Gale warning continues Friday and Friday night over most of lake
Huron. Refer to latest marine forecasts for details. Heavy freezing
spray is also likely.
