THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TODAY. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED. THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WIND
GUSTS TO 40 MPH AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING AS THEY MOVE TO THE EAST AT
15 MPH. ANY STORM THAT DEVELOPS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
INTENSE RAINFALL RATES. DUE TO THE SLOW STORM MOTION...SOME
LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE. THE THUNDERSTORMS TODAY WILL
BE THE RESULT OF A STATIONARY FRONT DRAPED OVER SOUTHERN MICHIGAN.
THIS FRONT WILL PUSH SOUTH OF THE STATE AS A COLD FRONT LATER IN
THE DAY...ENDING THE RISK FOR THUNDERSTORMS BY LATE THIS EVENING.
