...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CENTRAL OAKLAND...WEST
CENTRAL MACOMB AND SOUTHEASTERN LIVINGSTON COUNTIES...

At 648 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Oxford to near Brighton. Movement
was east at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

These storms will be near...
  Rochester around 700 PM EDT.
  Novi around 715 PM EDT.
  West Bloomfield around 720 PM EDT.
  Southfield and Birmingham around 735 PM EDT.
  Troy around 745 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Franklin, Keego
Harbor, Waterford, Orchard Lake, Shelby Township, Commerce,
Washington, Auburn Hills, Bingham Farms and Lake Angelus.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
