...CAUTIOUS TRAVEL IS ADVISED FOR SNOW-COVERED ROADWAYS AND
REDUCED VISIBILITIES early this evening...

WEATHER...

 * Heavy snow rates of 3 inches per hour are ongoing in portions
   of the northern Detroit suburbs. The most impacted locations
   include areas in the region surrounding the I-696 and I-75
   interchange, including Orchard Lake, Bloomfield Hills, Warren,
   Mount Clemens, and northern Detroit.

 * Expect treacherous travel as very heavy snow continues for the
   next 90 minutes or so.

 * Southeast winds around 10 mph.

 * Air temperatures will range between 22 and 23 degrees.

IMPACTS...

 * Visibilities will be near zero at times due to heavy snow and
   fog.

 * All roads will be snow-covered and hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * The combination of Heavy Snow and cold temperatures will
   result in localized slippery conditions and variable traffic
   rates throughout the county. Motorists are urged to use
