...CAUTIOUS TRAVEL IS ADVISED FOR SNOW-COVERED ROADWAYS AND
REDUCED VISIBILITIES THIS EVENING.

WEATHER...

 * A narrow band of heavy snow will impact a portion of Southeast
   Michigan during the next 2 hours.

 * A narrow swath of 1 to 2 inch accumulation is expected mainly
   between M59 and 8 Mile Road in addition to extreme southern
   Saint Clair County.

 * Air temperatures will range between 25 and 30 degrees.

IMPACTS...

 * Motorists...particularly those traveling on north-south
   roads...should expect rapid changes in road conditions.
   Impacted north-south thoroughfares include US-23, I-275, I-75,
   M53, and others.

 * Visibilities will be near 1/4 of a mile at times due to heavy snow.
   Rapid fluctuations of visibility are likely.

 * Accumulating snow may lead to slippery roads particularly on
   bridges, exit ramps and overpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * The combination of Heavy Snow and cold temperatures will
   result in localized slippery conditions and variable traffic
   rates throughout the county. Motorists are urged to use
   caution and account for the variable driving conditions by
   allowing extra time.
