COVERED ROADWAYS THIS AFTERNOON...

WEATHER...

 * LAKE EFFECT SNOW SQUALLS WILL AFFECT THE I-69 CORRIDOR THIS
   AFTERNOON. WIDELY VARYING SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED. SNOW
   ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BETWEEN 12PM AND
   4PM.

 * SOUTHWEST WINDS AROUND 20 MPH GUSTING TO 30 MPH WILL RESULT IN
   LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN DURING THE
   AFTERNOON.

 * AIR TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 19 AND 24 DEGREES.

IMPACTS...

 * BLOWING SNOW WILL RESULT IN RAPID REDUCTIONS OF VISIBILITY TO
   LESS THAN ONE MILE.

 * THE SOUTHWEST WINDS MAY LEAD TO DRIFTING OF SNOW ON ALL
   ROADWAYS PARTICULARLY IN LOCATIONS WITH OPEN EXPOSURE.
