...A BAND OF HEAVY SNOW MOVING THROUGH THE REGION THIS MORNING...

WEATHER...

 * A BAND OF HEAVY SNOW ALONG THE M-59 CORRIDOR WILL MOVE TOWARD
   THE I-96/696 TO I-94 CORRIDORS BETWEEN 5 AM AND 7 AM.

 * A SLUSHY ACCUMULATION AROUND 1 INCH IS EXPECTED.

 * AIR TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 30 AND 35 DEGREES.

IMPACTS...

 * A SLUSHY AND WET ACCUMULATION OF SNOW WILL LEAD TO SLIPPERY
   CONDITIONS ON UNTREATED ROADS PARTICULARLY ON BRIDGES...EXIT
   RAMPS...AND OVERPASSES.

 * HEAVY SNOW WILL CAUSE REDUCTIONS OF VISIBILITY FOR MOTORISTS
   DURING THE PEAK TRAVEL PERIOD.
