...CAUTIOUS TRAVEL IS ADVISED FOR A QUICK ACCUMULATION OF SNOWFALL
AND RAPID REDUCTIONS OF VISIBILITIES WITHIN BRIEF BURSTS OF HEAVY
SNOW ACROSS THE EASTERN THUMB THIS EVENING...

WEATHER...

 * A brief period of moderate to heavy snowfall will impact the
   far eastern thumb this evening.

 * Snowfall rates in excess of an inch per hour will be possible
within the heaviest bursts. This will lead to localized
accumulation of up to 2 inches.

IMPACTS...

 * Visibilities could be near zero at times due to intense
snowfall. Rapid fluctuations of visibility will occur.

 * Accumulating snow may lead to slippery roads particularly on
   bridges, exit ramps and overpasses.

&&

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * Reduced visibilities along with snow covered and slippery roads
will cause variable traffic rates throughout the region.
Motorists are urged to use caution and account for the variable
driving conditions by allowing extra time.

 * Prepare, plan and stay informed. Visit http://go.usa/gov/c7kkP
