...STRONG WINDS ACCOMPANYING COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE TONIGHT...

South to southwest winds will continue to strengthen ahead of an
approaching cold front. Wind gusts of 30-40 mph will be common
through the night. A line of showers with a few embedded
thunderstorms will precede the frontal passage, with a brief
period of 40-50 mph wind gusts possible in the strongest activity.
Timing of these strongest winds will be between midnight and 4 AM.

Behind the cold front, winds will shift to the west southwest and
continue to remain strong with frequent gusts likely exceeding 40
mph, especially during the afternoon hours.

Travel may become difficult at times tonight and continuing
through the day Tuesday, especially for high profile vehicles.
Lighter, unsecure outdoor items may easily blow around as well.
