...CAUTIOUS TRAVEL IS ADVISED FOR RAPID REDUCTIONS OF
VISIBILITIES AND INTENSE SNOWFALL THROUGH 6 PM...

WEATHER...

 * Snow squalls will impact southeastern Michigan during the
evening rush hour through 6 P.M., especially south of an
Owosso to Chesterfield line and north of Eight Mile Road.

 * Widely varying snowfall is expected. Snow accumulations of up
to 1 inch are expected in areas impacted between 5 and 6 P.M.

 * West winds around 10 mph with gusts to 20 mph.

 * Air temperatures will range between 23 and 27 degrees.

IMPACTS...

 * Moderate Snow will cause reductions of visibility to less
than one mile. There may be rapid fluctuations of visibility.

 * Accumulating snow will lead to slippery roads particularly on
   bridges, exit ramps and overpasses.

&&

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * The combination of Moderate Snow and strong winds will result
in localized white out conditions. Reduced visibilities along
with snow covered and slippery roads will cause variable
traffic rates throughout the county. Motorists are urged to
use caution and account for the variable driving conditions
   by allowing extra time.
