...ANOTHER ROUND OF SOAKING RAIN DURING MID AFTERNOON...

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT...

A BROAD AREA OF SOAKING RAIN WILL CONTINUE OVER THE REGION DURING
MID AFTERNOON IN ADVANCE OF A COLD FRONT. RAINFALL TOTALS NEAR A
HALF INCH ARE LIKELY BETWEEN 2 PM AND 4 PM. THIS WILL ADD TO THE
POTENTIAL FOR PONDING OF WATER ON AREA ROADS AND IN PRONE AREAS
AFTER THE RAINFALL LAST NIGHT.

AS THE FRONT USHERS THE RAIN PATTERN TOWARD THE NORTHEAST...WIND
WILL INCREASE FROM THE SOUTHWEST OVER THE REGION AND REACH GUSTS
AROUND 45 MPH. ONSET OF THE STRONG WIND WILL BE FROM 2 TO 3 PM IN
THE TRI CITIES AND FROM 3 TO 4 PM IN THE NORTHERN THUMB.
