...CAUTIOUS TRAVEL IS ADVISED FOR RAPID REDUCTIONS OF
VISIBILITIES AND BURSTS OF SNOWFALL THIS EVENING...

WEATHER...

 * Intermittent snow squalls will impact southeastern Michigan
during the remainder of the afternoon and also during the
evening commute. Through 3PM EST...the focus of the activity
has been along the I 94 corridor through Washtenaw and Wayne
   counties.

 * For those areas impacted by the snow squalls...a quick dusting
of snowfall can be expected. Total accumulations will remain
   light.

 * West winds of 15 to 25 mph.

 * Air temperatures will range between 27 and 30 degrees.
Windchill values will be in the upper teens to around 20
   degrees.

IMPACTS...

 * Falling snow will cause brief reductions of visibility to less
than one mile. There may be rapid fluctuations of visibility.

 * Moisture on roadways and temperatures below freezing may lead
to slippery roads particularly on bridges, exit ramps and
   overpasses.

&&

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * Intermittent snow squalls will result in visibilities of less
than one mile and variable traffic rates throughout the county
this evening. Motorists are urged to use caution and account
for the variable driving conditions by allowing extra time.

 * Prepare, plan and stay informed.
