THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT/PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM
EST THIS EVENING.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * OCCASIONAL BANDS OF HEAVY SNOW WILL IMPACT THE REGION THROUGH
   THE AFTERNOON. THE MORE PERSISTENT SNOW SHOWERS WILL AFFECT
   LOCATIONS NORTH OF THE M 59 CORRIDR. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL
   ACCUMLATIONS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES IS EXPECTED...WITH SOME LOCALLY
   HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

 * HEAVY SNOW IS IS NOW WORKING INTO FAR NORTHERN
   LIVINGSTON...OAKLAND AND MACOMB COUNTIES. THE SNOW HAS BEEN
   EXPANDING ACROSS CENTRAL ST CLAIR COUNTY. THIS REGION OF HEAVY
   SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO SLIDE SOUTH THROUGH EARLY
   AFTERNOON...WITH ADDITIONAL REDEVELOPMENT EXPECTED.

 * VISIBILITIES WITHIN THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL DROP TO NEAR ZERO
   AS SNOWFALL RATES WILL BE IN EXCESS OF AN INCH PER HOUR.
